Vet & Groomer Bills

Another factor to think about is how much keeping your dog in good shape will cost. The Veterinarian is unavoidable, a dog owner always will have to go to the Vet. and if the owner doesn't want to groom their dog they will have to pay for grooming too. When buying a puppy it usually costs about $200 dollars to get the puppy started with it's vaccinations and other various things. Then after puppy hood a owner still has to go to the Vet. annually; also it's a good idea to put away a good amount of money or get dog insurance just in case the dog gets injured or gets ill, and trust me this will come up eventually no matter how protective the owner is.

There are also people who feel it a need or don't like to groom their own animals. This is fine but it will be a small blow to the wallet every time you have the dog groomed. The Shiba Inu is a very clean dog so I don't see grooming as a very big need but if one likes to spend the extra money to have the dog groomed that's fine. Just keep in mind that buying a puppy is just the start of the paying process and be prepared to dish out a good amount of money once you go to the Vet. and if you go to the groomers.
